Educational Audiologist
Dr. Braun founded the Auditory Processing Center of Pasadena in 2006 with the goal of providing comprehensive (central) auditory processing evaluations for children and adults while educating patients and their families as to each individual's specific deficits and strengths.
Dr. Braun is a clinical audiologist and a credentialed educational audiologist with 30 years of experience including 24 years completing comprehensive (central) auditory processing evaluations in private and educational settings. She has completed over 10,000 evaluations and has provided input to school districts, employers, educators, physicians, speech-language pathologists, educational therapists, occupational therapists, vision therapists, testing boards and parent groups.
Dr. Braun earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Cal State University Los Angeles, and her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Educational Audiology Association, a previous adjunct professor at Cal State Los Angeles, and a guest lecturer at Cal State Northridge.
